A Portrait of Me
Not a self-portrait, though. This awesome drawing was done by Jordan Ogilvie, a grade 6 student at one of the schools that I visited as the Youth Minister. He gave it to me as a going-away gift.
There's me in my brown jacket, with the famous (or infamous) Get Holy or Die Tryin' t-shirt, a Bible, my spikey hair, and even facial scruff! That's one observant and talented kid!

It's an honour when kids draw us. They see so well.
always wondered what you looked like. Have you fallen off the edge of the blogosphere?
Hey Jacob! Nice to hear from you!
I'm on a bit of a hiatus, while I try to get a job. I had an interview today, so hopefully by the end of the week or the beginning of next I'll be gainfully employed, and at more liberty to use my free time in more pleasurable pursuits than job-searching.
When I get back to it, I've got a few posts intended for both here and Barque of Peter--a few discussions to finish up.
Prayers would definitely be appreciated!
God bless
Gregory
I wish you well in your job serch. Are you looking at ministry positions only?
Hey Jacob,
Thanks for your well-wishes. I'm not specifically looking for full-time ministry. In fact, I just had an interview at a Landscaping company yesterday. I'm just looking to provide for my family. If that means full-time ministry, then awesome. If not, then my ministry will be volunteering at my local church.
Whatever happens, God's will be done.
